The official song and music video for the 48th WorldSkills Competition, Here We Shine, were released on Aug 24, ahead of the event in Shanghai from Sept 22 to 27.
The song is performed by actor and singer Xiao Zhan, the competition's promotional ambassador. With an energetic rhythm and lyrics in both Chinese and English, it celebrates skills and young talent from around the world.
The music video features animated characters representing different skills alongside Shanghai landmarks, offering a fun look at the upcoming event.
Themed "Master Skills, Change Your Future," WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 will feature 64 competitions across fields including manufacturing, construction, IT, creative arts and services. China will send 71 competitors to compete in all 64 categories.
