A new waterfront park in the Xingfu area of Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District's Urban Renewal Zone has been approved, with the first phase of construction set to begin soon.
Xingfu Waterfront Park will connect local waterways, green spaces and transport facilities, creating a more livable and work-friendly environment. The first phase will focus on landscaping around nearby industrial plots.
Recent river improvements in the area have also been completed, including dredging, shoreline improvements and landscaping. The upgraded waterways will further enhance flood control and provide space for future waterfront activities.
