The 2026 Employment, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise (3E) International Fair was held in Shanghai's Changning district on Sept 12, offering more than 400 job opportunities from over 20 companies, including Bosch (China) and Michelin (China).
Held in the Changning area of the Hongqiao International Central Business District under the theme "Hongqiao gathering wisdom, sci-tech innovation vitalizing the district," the fair focused on artificial intelligence applications and talent development, aligning with Shanghai's "AI Plus" action plan.
The event saw the launch of the Carbon Silicon Tribe innovation and entrepreneurship platform at Hongqiao Haichuang Bay and the second-phase Going Global workshop for international talent. The platform integrates office space, project incubation, policy support, industry connections and services to help domestic and overseas innovators establish themselves in Hongqiao.
The workshop will help entrepreneurs strengthen their capacity to enter overseas markets by connecting them with expertise, resources and networking opportunities.
A dedicated consultation session also brought together more than 10 organizations to provide one-on-one advice on immigration procedures, overseas talent services, healthcare, international education and taxation. Local commerce officials introduced support for companies expanding overseas, while tax authorities explained incentives and filing procedures.
Participating employers, including Spring Airlines, Bosch (China) and Michelin (China), offered more than 400 positions to candidates from China and abroad. The fair also featured simulated interview scenarios to help job seekers prepare for recruitment.
First held in 2020, the annual event is now in its seventh edition and has attracted more than 350 companies and nearly 6,000 participants over the years.
A Hongqiao subdistrict official said the fair serves as a bridge for global talent, innovation and entrepreneurship. The subdistrict will continue improving its services to attract international professionals and support their integration into regional development.
