WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 opens on Sept 22, with the skill competitions running from Sept 23 to 26 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), or NECC.

Not all competitions and activities run throughout the day.
Public viewing of the competitions is available from Sept 23 to 26:
Sept 23: 10 am–5 pm
Sept 24–26: 9 am–5 pm
Latest entry is at 4 pm each day.
Getting to the NECC
By metro
Line 2: National Exhibition and Convention Center Station will be closed from the start of service until noon on Sept 23. At other times, alight at the station and use Exits 4, 5, 6, or 8 to reach the West Registration Hall.
Line 17: Alight at the National Exhibition and Convention Center Station and use Exit 15. The underground passage leads to the North Plaza and North Registration Hall.
Shuttle buses
From Sept 23 to 26, free shuttle buses operate from the NECC P5 Parking Lot during the departure period from 3 pm to 7 pm to:
Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2
Zhongchun Road Station on Metro Line 9

Traffic restrictions will be in place around the venue from Sept 23 to 26.
