Shanghai REFIRE Group, a leading hydrogen technology company based in the Jiading area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Dec 6.
Founded in September 2015, REFIRE Group is known for its market-oriented approach and global vision. The company has an international R&D team, with over 40 percent holding advanced degrees. REFIRE has established production bases in Shanghai, Changshu in Jiangsu province, and Jiaxing in Zhejiang province, as well as overseas branches in North America and Europe.
As the first in the industry to achieve self-research and mass production of fuel cell systems, stacks, membrane electrodes, and bipolar plates, REFIRE has reached international standards in fuel cell technology for commercial vehicles. It has also pioneered the use of domestically produced proton exchange membranes.
REFIRE's hydrogen fuel cell systems for heavy trucks led the Chinese market in total output power for both 2022 and 2023. The company's products and technologies are widely used in road and rail transportation, construction machinery, power generation, and ultra-fast charging for electric vehicles.
