The first session of the "Belt and Road" Overseas Youth Digital Marketing Training Camp series, titled "Shanghai Products Go Global", took place from Jan 18 to 20 in the Hongqiao International Central Business District.
The event was organized by the "Belt and Road" Modern Service Industry Technical Skills Training Center to train technicians for countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and Chinese enterprises looking to go global.
Participants include trainees from 27 countries, with 26 from BRI-involved nations. The group mainly consists of overseas students studying in China, including 45 undergraduates, six master's students, and five doctoral candidates. Most were from renowned Chinese universities.

Scholars from research institutions and universities, as well as entrepreneurs and experts in the field of cross-border e-commerce, were invited to attend. They shared firsthand experience in cross-border e-commerce and the latest, most practical digital marketing techniques and strategies with participants. They also interacted with participants and answered questions.
The center plans to host future training camps in emerging industries like AI, robotics, and new energy vehicles, as well as social service sectors.
