According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, Panlong Tiandi in Shanghai's Hongqiao International Central Business District was included on the latest list of national-level tourism and leisure blocks.
With 230,000 square meters of green space, it revitalizes Panlong Ancient Town, preserving landmarks like Panlong Ancestral Temple and Xianghua Bridge while introducing cultural hubs like the Yuz Art Museum.
Panlong Tiandi's central thoroughfare includes a 3-kilometer circular trail, outdoor sports areas, and a water system with boat docks. The area also features tea houses, pet parks, boutique hotels, and eco-friendly restaurants, blending history with modern amenities.
It hosts cultural events like the "Panlong Water Market" and collaborates with institutions such as Harvard University's Chinese Art Lab to provide immersive cultural experiences.
