The Shanghai Foreign Investment Association launched its Intellectual Property Working Committee in the Hongqiao International Central Business District on March 23.
In recent years, Hongqiao has rapidly developed its capabilities in science and innovation. With platforms like the Hongqiao Science and Innovation Service Center, the area is seeing a surge in high-tech and specialized enterprises as well as major research and development centers, making intellectual property protection a key priority for fostering innovation.
The district is now home to 184 legal service institutions and 108 top-tier international and domestic professional service organizations. These resources, along with specialized platforms such as the "UNI-8" Hongqiao Foreign-related Prosecution Service Station and the city's first Data Product Intellectual Property Registration Service Station, offer comprehensive support for intellectual property management, risk prevention and dispute resolution.
At the event, "Top 10 Cases of Criminal Protection of Intellectual Property Rights" were announced, demonstrating significant achievements in the field.
Moving forward, Hongqiao plans to build a comprehensive intellectual property protection system tailored to its needs.
