As spring ushers in warmth, Shanghai's Huacao International Community Center (HICC) invites Chinese and foreign residents to its Spring Health & Wellness Fair on April 11.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Hongqiao International Talents Service Center and Minhang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, offers a unique blend of traditional and modern health experiences.
The fair features 20 booths that highlight the rich heritage of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Attendees can explore herbal medicine, learn about acupuncture, taste health-preserving teas and receive free health consultations and blood pressure checks.
Inside HICC, health lectures will cover various topics such as the benefits of wormwood and obesity management, with bilingual sessions available. Continuous workshops will provide opportunities for first-aid training, tuina (medical massage) experiences and healthy cooking classes.
Interactive sports zones and special offers on health products will also be available at the Cultural and Sports Center, promoting a holistic approach to wellness.
