
Shanghai demonstrated its development as a global consumer hub at a promotional event held during the sixth China International Consumer Products Expo in Haikou, Hainan province.
In his speech at the event, Yang Xubo, deputy director of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD) Administrative Commission, emphasized the CBD's strategic role in utilizing the benefits of the China International Import Expo to boost consumption and foster innovation.

Hongqiao is working to transform international exhibits into popular products in China, with the goal of strengthening Shanghai's role in global consumption. This initiative supports China's dual circulation strategy, which focuses on boosting domestic consumption while maintaining connections with global markets.
During the expo, exhibitors from Hongqiao showcased a wide range of offerings. The Hongqiao International Coffee Harbor featured premium coffees from around the world, reinforcing Hongqiao's status as a premier destination for imported goods.
Greenland Group launched a pavilion that spotlighted products from 10 countries and regions and introduced pioneering e-commerce partnerships to broaden market access. Digital event technology company 31EVENT demonstrated Hongqiao's advancements in digital exhibition innovation, enhancing operations through cutting-edge technology.
