The POP Shejie Fashion Industry Park in Shanghai's Hongqiao CBD has launched China's first fashion-industry one-person company (OPC) Innovation Center. This initiative aims to revolutionize the fashion sector by using AI and OPC to support solo fashion creators, capitalizing on Hongqiao's strategic transport and exhibition advantages.
Lu Pingyi, president of Shejie Technology Group, explained the decision to locate the center in Hongqiao, citing its concentration of textile and fashion enterprises. The center serves about 3,000 companies in the Yangtze River Delta region, fostering business interactions and consolidating industry resources.
Hongqiao's location offers significant benefits, including proximity to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), which hosts numerous textile and clothing exhibitions.
The OPC platform aims to empower individuals with AI tools, enhancing productivity and reshaping fashion production models. The system integrates over 30 AI applications, supporting the entire creative process and reducing operational costs for small and medium-sized businesses to a fraction of their former level.
In addition to the OPC platform, Shejie Technology is developing four core centers in Hongqiao to strengthen industry services, including a fashion runway and a business academy. These efforts reinforce Hongqiao's position as a key hub in the fashion industry.
Looking ahead, Lu emphasized that Hongqiao's strategic advantages will continue to drive development, with Shejie Technology aiming to connect around the world and promote intelligent, collaborative growth in China's fashion industry.
