Shanghai's Hongqiao International Central Business District showcased its services for companies expanding into overseas markets at the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), which opened in Xiamen, Fujian province, on Sept 8.
On the first day, the stand received representatives from 72 companies, while 117 new users registered for Hongqiao's overseas services mini program. The stand also provided free one-on-one consultations and helped businesses connect with professional service providers and overseas resources.
Digital tools at the stand include an overseas service network map, case studies and a service toolkit, allowing visitors to access information on overseas markets and professional services.
The exhibition highlights Hongqiao's efforts to support companies from the Yangtze River Delta region in expanding globally through a service model linking Hongqiao-based services, the region's manufacturing strength and global markets.
Following the opening ceremony, a Hongqiao delegation visited the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce in Xiamen and several local companies to discuss industrial links, cross-border resources and international business cooperation between Hongqiao and Xiamen.
