The 22nd Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, or Auto Shanghai 2027, will be held from April 23 to May 2, 2027, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in the Hongqiao International Central Business District, according to the organizing committee at a news conference on Sept 8.
Covering about 400,000 square meters, the exhibition will focus on emerging intelligent technologies and new areas of automotive development. It will debut a dedicated exhibition area for embodied intelligence and showcase real-world applications of physical AI, advanced chips and other cutting-edge technologies.
The auto show will coincide with the May Day holiday, creating a one-stop automotive consumption experience for Shanghai residents and visitors from around the world. Organizers also plan to collaborate with popular cultural IPs in the city to create distinctive experiences and strengthen the show's brand identity.
