The WeChat mini program for the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District's Hongqiao Overseas Service Platform has been upgraded with "Huhangzhe" (Shanghai Navigator), an AI agent from Shanghai Desk, the city's service platform for companies expanding overseas.
Available around the clock, the agent offers policy consultation, overseas expansion planning, and risk alerts, with access to human assistance for complex queries.
Drawing on a professional knowledge base and Hongqiao's overseas services network, the agent helps companies navigate the key stages of overseas expansion.
Users can describe their needs in natural language to receive guidance on country-specific investment policies, international trade rules, and cross-border taxation. It also helps organize expansion plans based on a company's industry, target markets, investment scale, and development stage.
The agent tracks regulatory updates, trade rules, and compliance requirements across countries and flags potential risks in advance. Resource matching, which will connect companies with overseas industrial parks and professional service providers, is planned for version 2.0.
