Visitors to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) can now enjoy faster, more reliable wireless connectivity following the venue-wide rollout of Wi-Fi 7.
Located in the Hongqiao International Central Business District, the venue — home to the annual China International Import Expo (CIIE) — has upgraded its network to support nearly 100,000 users connecting at the same time.
The upgraded network offers higher speeds, lower latency and more stable connections, making it easier for visitors to browse online, share photos and videos, livestream events and access cloud-based services.
Wi-Fi 7 coverage extends across exhibition halls, entrance lobbies, conference areas and public spaces. Optimized roaming also helps users stay connected as they move around the venue.
The upgrade will provide improved connectivity for the upcoming CIIE and other major exhibitions and events at the venue.
Visitors can access the free Wi-Fi by verifying their mobile phone number or scanning an on-site QR code.
