The Hongqiao International Central Legal-services District is expanding legal support for businesses by making free compliance risk checkups and related legal services more accessible through cooperation with the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation.
Enterprises can scan a QR code at the comprehensive service center on the first floor of the district's legal services building to obtain a one-on-one report from market authorities. The report helps identify compliance risks and offers legal suggestions.
For more personalized support, companies can also access free consultations on overseas expansion, data compliance, intellectual property and other business issues through the district's service center, WeChat account and public service platform.
The legal cloud checkup uses enterprise data held by market regulators to analyze potential legal risks and provide compliance advice through Suishenban, Shanghai's government service platform.
Each report includes "checkup conclusions" and "health suggestions". The conclusions present basic company information and legal risk points, while the suggestions provide targeted advice, general compliance reminders and policy guidance.
Risk alerts may cover business name changes, asset separation for one-person companies, expiring licenses, overdue annual reports, common violations in market regulation and licensing inconsistencies. Chain enterprises can also view license information, compliance weaknesses and suggestions for how their branches can be improved.
The service is preventive, authoritative, inclusive, private and dynamic. Reports are generated only after a company applies, and other individuals or companies cannot access them. As regulatory data, legal databases and models are updated, the reports can be refreshed in real time.
