MuShanghai, the ongoing global tech pop-up city based in Shanghai, will launch its highly anticipated Culture Week from June 1 to 7.
The event gathers global creators and tech builders to explore genuine human warmth and creativity in today's AI-driven era.
Running alongside the main muShanghai program, ongoing daily activities include the Ordinary Wonders Gallery, a community exhibition displaying personal keepsakes and daily-life artifacts shared by participants. There are also traditional martial arts and fascia training sessions, as well as relaxed tea gatherings and interactive sessions to help attendees unwind and build genuine connections.
Five themed days from June 1 to 5 highlight diverse cultural topics. Activities cover gaming creation, digital fragment art, rural innovation, solarpunk culture and future community exploration, blending tech thinking with grassroots culture and social experiments. The week concludes with a closing sharing session for the gallery, where participants exchange stories and artworks.
Open to all muShanghai pass holders, Culture Week stands as a grassroots cultural experiment. It encourages tech practitioners to step back from algorithms and code, and to rethink the essence of humanity, imagination and community. The event also serves as a bridge for cross-industry communication and global cultural exchange throughout the week.
