A lineup of China's leading electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft will be showcased at the International Advanced Air Mobility Expo 2026, to be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District from July 22 to 25.
The exhibition, running in Halls 3 and 4.1 from 9 am to 6 pm, will feature some of the country's best-known eVTOL developers and highlight the latest advances in urban air mobility and low-altitude transportation.
Among the exhibitors are industry leaders including EHang, AutoFlight, Volant Aerotech, TCab Tech, AEROFUGIA, Vision Aero and CoolFly, along with several emerging companies developing passenger, cargo, and emergency-response aircraft.
The expo comes as China's low-altitude economy gains momentum. New airworthiness standards introduced by the Civil Aviation Administration of China this year provide a certification framework for piloted electric eVTOL aircraft with up to nine seats, accelerating the industry's path to commercial operation.
Designed to take off and land vertically without a runway, eVTOL aircraft are expected to support airport transfers, intercity travel, sightseeing, logistics, and emergency rescue, while offering quieter, cleaner transportation than conventional helicopters.
In addition to aircraft displays, the expo will host industry forums and conferences on technological innovation, certification, and commercial applications, bringing together manufacturers, researchers, and investors to explore the future of advanced air mobility.
