Representatives from the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District Foreign-Invested Enterprises Community (FIEs Community @ Hongqiao) visited Danfoss' zero-carbon park in Haiyan, Zhejiang province, on July 17 to explore green development and regional cooperation.
Participants attended presentations on China's upcoming carbon-control policies and on the development of zero-carbon industrial parks and factories. Danfoss also shared its sustainability practices and led a tour of its production line, energy center, and heat pump demonstration area.
The event is part of the Hongqiao International CBD's efforts to deepen cooperation across the Yangtze River Delta and help businesses accelerate their green transition.
Hongqiao is advancing green development through projects such as the Global New Energy Empowerment Center and an integrated solar, energy storage and hydrogen network, aiming to create scalable low-carbon solutions.
The district is also strengthening its role as a service hub for companies expanding overseas. It has attracted 108 international professional service providers and is working with neighboring YRD cities to improve cross-regional business support.
Established in 2022, the Hongqiao International CBD Foreign-Invested Enterprises Community now has 75 member organizations. It regularly hosts policy briefings, business visits, and networking events to foster cooperation between government agencies and foreign-invested companies.
