In Shanghai, petrochemical equipment manufacturer SupeZET has completed the main construction phase of its state-of-the-art innovation center in the Qianwan area of the Hongqiao International Central Business District.
Also known as Shanghai SupeZET Engineering Technology Co Ltd, SupeZET is an industrial engineering firm specializing in petrochemical equipment design, manufacturing, installation and servicing.
Spanning 100,000 square meters, the new facility is currently finishing off its interior decoration and equipment installation, with plans to open early next year.
Known for its modular and integrated manufacturing of large-scale equipment, SupeZET supplies the petrochemicals, oil refining and natural gas chemicals industries. The choice of the Qianwan area was strategic, leveraging its prime location, skilled workforce and supportive industrial policies.
The facility is expected to be a hub for cutting-edge research and development, with a particular focus on green manufacturing.
It will serve multiple purposes, among them being SupeZET's headquarters to bolster its expansion into the Yangtze River Delta region and providing a research center for advancements in refining, chemicals and new energy.
It will also be an educational center to foster technology and learning, as well as an incubation center to support emerging green equipment companies.
SupeZET plans to collaborate with local academic institutions, including East China University of Science and Technology, to drive innovation in materials and processes.
On the international front, the company aims to extend its market reach by developing globally competitive, integrated product-service solutions.
The new innovation center is said to signal SupeZET's strategic shift from merely delivering equipment to offering integrated solutions.
Its aim is to play a pivotal role in advancing the local high-end equipment industry, contributing to the creation of a lucrative green equipment industrial supply chain.
