Cross-border e-commerce group Shanghai Tangyao Trading Service Co Ltd has officially registered in the Hongqiao International Central Business District in Shanghai — marking a welcome addition to the area's cross-border e-commerce sector.
The company, with a registered capital of 30 million yuan ($4.21 million), is fully owned by Shanghai Zhutang Information Technology Co Ltd. It will handle core operations like customer services and visual designs for the parent company in Shanghai and manage overseas operations, playing a key role in Zhutang Information Technology's global market expansion.
Since its inception in 2014, Shanghai Zhutang has been active in cross-border e-commerce and international trade.
With its headquarters in Shanghai, the company operates in the Americas, Europe and Southeast Asia. It focuses on outdoor goods, sports equipment, garden supplies and home furnishings.
Thanks to its innovative ERP or Enterprise Resource Planning systems, logistics management and diverse market strategies, Zhutang topped 1 billion yuan in sales in 2024.
The decision to set up a subsidiary in the Hongqiao International Central Business District was strategic, as the area serves as a gateway in southwest Shanghai.
Its extensive transport network allows for quick global market connections and efficient supply chain responses.
"Hongqiao offers our brand MOONCOOL a platform to boost international influence and expand partnerships," a company spokesperson explained.
Tangyao Trading Service's registration in Hongqiao is expected to invigorate the local cross-border e-commerce industry.
The company aims to use this location to enhance its technological innovation, improve user experiences and support the high-quality development of the sector.
