Shanghai is preparing to host China's leading platform for global industrial cooperation and innovation. On Sept 23, the 25th China International Industry Fair (CIIF) will open at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.

Spanning 300,000 square meters and bringing together over 3,000 global exhibitors, this year's CIIF promises record-breaking scale, international participation, and innovation-driven highlights.

Why visit CIIF 2025?

1. A Showcase of new industrial strength

From the C919, China's first domestically developed large passenger jet, to the Adora Magic City, the country's first domestically built large cruise ship, the exhibition highlights achievements in high-end manufacturing.

Smart robotics and AI-powered tools demonstrate precision innovation, while breakthroughs in nuclear and hydrogen power highlight a greener future.

2. Global & professional

More than 3,000 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions will take part, including leading players from Germany, Japan, the United States, and France.

Frontier technologies such as quantum communication, fusion energy, and brain-computer interface will also be in focus.

The fair will include the National Exhibition, the Future Industry Innovation Exhibition, nine themed industry shows, and ten high-level summits.

3. Immersive experience

CIIF connects the entire industry chain with targeted investment sessions, supply chain cooperation, and business matchmaking, helping global companies discover opportunities in China's fast-evolving industrial landscape.

First launches & breakthroughs

CIIF 2025 will feature about 300 world premieres and 200 China debuts, among them ABB's PoWa, the world's fastest collaborative robot; Salvagnini's AI-driven P-Robot folding system; Amada's variable-pulse high-speed bandsaw; and Chaifu Robotics' heavy-duty robot with a 5,000-kilogram payload.

Alongside these debuts, the fair will also highlight 392 breakthrough exhibits under the "Extreme" theme, showcasing cutting-edge innovation:

– Extreme large: A nuclear power unit capable of supplying electricity to more than 11 million residents annually.

– Extreme small: Micron-level expandable microspheres creating lighter and more sustainable materials.

– Extreme light: A chip verification platform with the capacity to handle 46 billion logic gates.

– Extreme precision: A high-end optoelectronic detector rivaling the world's leading technologies.

– Extreme smart: Innovations such as an ultra-fast laser cutting machine and an intelligent check-in system, which is already in use at airports.
